Would that founder get only shares, or would he take out some cash up front? I guess if I were investing in one of these things, I'd want to know that founder was "all in" and wasn't drawing some huge management fee instead.

In other words, I'd want to know his goals were the same as mine and that decisions he makes were to grow his long term investment.
