I did replace the battery, it was a crappy one. Adjustable throttle with remote start/kill switch. When setting it up I jumped on it and tried it out, I have no doubt it would easily do 30+ with a 200 lb guy on it. This is a youth size, I've always heard to skip the small ones as they outgrow them too fast.
Very solid ATV. my 6 yr old loves it. He plans on helping walk cows home this fall already. I tried to get him to drag the yard with a single section drag but he didn't have enough weight.
Do not get one with reverse. Apparently kids love to rev it up in neutral, drop it in gear to spin out. Very hard on it.
It starts up even when it's 0 out. Takes a bit to warm up, though. If you need to choke it it's an adult thing as the choke is on the carb.
My Chinese motor water pump in my spray tender and the one on my generator have lasted longer than the Briggs motors I've had in the past. | |
