Virginia | Sign up for medicare at 65 and you will be billed quarterly for the medicare premium. When you begin to receive your SS benefits, you will no longer be billed for the medicare premium since the government will be sure to deduct it from your SS monthly benefit.
Do your self a favor and spent some time on the SS website. They have an online calculator which is very easy to use.
I haven't been to a SS office. Did all of my stuff online and no problems what-so-ever. After enrolling online you will get a call from them verifing your information and you should be good to go. BE SURE to print the appication after you fill it out and you will have it in hand when they call. | |
