I would like to use my laptop as a desktop tower at home. I have the lid set to 'do nothing when closed' when I have the laptop connected to an external monitor. When the lid is closed the external monitor has no signal. Does another setting exist in windows that would allow the monitor to receive the signal with the lid closed?
