And povertypoint yeah we got a lot of snow in November followed by a lot of rain in December and all the cows got real dirty was hard to keep em clean. They were all dried up by then so bags are clean.
Meadowslandbeef no, dipping navels is something we have never done. And I know we should prolly start cause it wouldn't hurt anything but we haven't had any problems with navel infections in the past. Other than on a couple dairy calves we have bought as bottle calves.
Richard240 that building used to be the hay shed. Now it is used for storage. So we put up tenderfoot hog sheets out of an old pig barn down the road to keep them from crapping through the boards. | |
