Hastings, Florida

Plant City / Dover  has strawberry operations in full swing now, several citrus groves around Clermont ( SHOWCASE OF CITRUS )   offer tours, but this time of year most big sugar /  produce / citrus operations are well to the south of Orlando. Much warmer than the " Mouse's House " ( Orlando ). Several large house plant nursery companies near Apopka might interest you.
My area, around St.Augustine, is harvesting cabbage, brocolli, other smaller greens. Planting taters. Around 30,000 acres total vegetable production.
Mostly veggie planting on-going in North and Central Bikini State. Harvesting in Southern area ( little Cuba ), from about Vero Beach down to Homestead.
