Central Illinois | We use a Paradine-Integra combination to auto steer our planter tractor on strip till. We then tee our Pro 700 monitor on the 1255 planter into the paradine cable to get the rtk GPS signal to control the planter. The reoccurring problem we had was the Pro 700 would for a few seconds loose the signal and the map would show the planter going at a 90 to the rows. The Integra never lost the signal from the paradine. The planter continued to plant thru this loss of signal. The problem was on the next pass the row clutches would disengage thinking the miss placed marks on the Pro 700 monitor were already planted. Would any one have suggestions as to what was causing this loss of signal? Is there a way to remedy this? If I remembered I would turn off the auto shut off on the row clutches so the rows would get planted thru the miss placed marks. | |
