Not entirely sure what to think anymore on the middle east. ISIS is no trivial aberration. They seem especially scummy. Like, somehow even worse than that Taliban. Unfortunately, we've ignored them long enough, they appear to have fully metastasized over there, the disgusting cancer that they are. I don't doubt for a second that if we unleashed the full fury of our boys, they'd take care of business quite quickly, but political realities trump military ones. It certainly looks like that part of the world is going to continue descending into chaos until our Lord comes back. |
