Our local does this a lot this time of year. Terminal needs trains...farmer wants to move before road restrictions come on and we hit the field but doesn't want to sell. Seems like a good deal BUT they now have the grain and have no incentive to raise bid! And once they have enough basis normally widens. It normally doesn't get better until July sometime.
