Before you rush into hanging it, does it really need changing? They have no breather, so if they get hot they will weep a little oil. One of the mechanics that came to our tractors said it was a good idea to open the plugs when they were hot to let the pressure out, then the pressure doesn't get high enough to pop the seals.
