Yup, that's what I have for equipment, and what I had in mind to do. I like the idea of the spring/chain/hinge/switch thing. Should be relatively easy to make. I just have to find the right pushbutton type switch for it.
Would go for the whisker switches, but not sure I want to fork out $85 each for switches on each implement- planter, field cult, and ripper, but might be simpler to install. At least that's the only price I could find online for AgLeader whisker switches.
Any generic whisker switches out there to be had?
I couldn't find any, but maybe they have another name for them?

Would the relay on the sprayer center boom ball valve draw enough power to affect the ball valve operation? If not, that's the way I'll go for the sprayer.
