southern MN | Arc-co will get you some bucks the next 2 years and is the way to go.
PLC could pay off better towards the end of the farm bill period if grain prices go very low.
Arc-ind doesn't enter into a typical Midwest corn/soy farm.
A bird in the hand sort or person would go with Arc.
A doom and gloom for the future person might pick PLC.
The consensus in my county is to go Arc-co and to pick the most corn acre base you can get. Doing the same will keep me in the same boat as the neighborhood, and so likely is the right way to go, even it if proves wrong down the road, its the best guess for the moment.
We won't really know until this farm bill expires, it is a dart thrown at a board.
