Windom, MN | We have never washed ours, but do take the boxes off to oil chains. I usually just set them off to the side, oil chains and inspect the seed tubes, then put them back on. I do have a rack for 11 of the soybean boxes (it's just 2 30 gallon barrels with 2 planks, set the boxes on their tops) for when we plant corn. I like taking them off during corn because the boxes feel in the way when we aren't using them. If you do this, you will get a lot of dirt in the seed tubes, but all you need to do is blow them out before you put the boxes back on for soybeans. | |
