There was just a report that suggested that corn seed sales for second crop were very slow up to just recently but now it seems that those producers who can will try to plant the second crop corn. Maybe the fact that the price of soybeans there ($6-7 on the farm) is low means they will need the extra income despite the risk of drought. Remember the government of Brazil supports the price of corn.
