I farm in Stoddard county and have had some dry land ground that I put in corn. I use AgriGold A6522 and A6517. Trying a new drought guard from them this year A6619. I think you are probably planting some of the Family B genetics which are good corns just light on TW. Might look at 6522 which is a G or this 6619 that is an F genetic. My two cents.
