Northeast Nebraska | This last year our hog unit got sold (not our choice) so now we have no supply of pigs. My dad has decided hes done with hogs he's 66 so that's understandable. Our barns our in pretty good condition yet. I was wonder if any of you guys know a source of isowean pigs and whats the going price right now? If I don't buy any hogs, I figured I would rent the barns out at least. I'm not for sure what rent is now a days is either, we rented a lot of barns but rent always varied for us. Does anyone feel like there better off renting the barns compared to raising there own? | |
