Subject: RE: Phytogen 333 - dry weather performance?

Tenn Valley
Phy 333 certainly has performed well in the Mid South these last 2 years. I hope that Brangus, being in Texas, shed some light on what 333 will do in drier years. 333 will not require the aggressive Pix program that 499 requires. 499 has been good to Mid South producers - even though we've had to defoliate & open bolls when 499 was 10% open. There's a Pix management sheet from Whitaker, UGA, that list different varieties & their Pix requirements.

With cotton at 58 cents, cotton will have less of the crop mix than in previous years!
