This is a link to an old thread about MESZ vs MAP+micros.
Their is a new CPS in my area. So I did some price checking on fert with them today. Salesman said they carry DAP and MESZ only for Phos.
I read this old thread when searching for MESZ info. I am using a similar blend of MAP/Zinc Sulfate and Ammonium Sulfate.
The MESZ sounded like a good idea at first but now looking into it I Dont like the fact that the sulfur is 1/2 elemental 1/2 sulfate. Also can't vary my S rate with it. It can be bought a few dollars an acre cheaper then my blend.
Am I missing anything? Any one go away from using it? |
