Northeast Louisiana | Owns a bunch near here. In typical corporate fashion, liability concerns trump common sense. If one of the farm managers has a flat on a pickup, they are not allowed to touch it, they must call a tire service to change it. The managers have to make up all sorts of detailed budgets and are expected to adhere to the applications and number of field trips in the budget no matter what. Then, if the field doesn't yield what was in the plan their bonus gets cut. It's obvious a bunch of goons who don't know jack about real world farming call the shots. If I was king, people like that wouldn't be allowed to own farm land. | |
