I've been in the same boat, and just bought a new NH3 rig.....

The one thing I've been picking up, yes the bacteria and stuff rebounds from NH3 aplication, and actually ends up with a net gain.

The concern I'm picking up is the fungi..... Which according to some including Clapperton, are much slower rebounding...

That is the concern....

With that said, I use spring and fall NH3...... Still see mushrooms in field, and Ants(which are supposed to be another good ) saw hordes of ants last summer

Know I can do better..... But
