I used flat plow coulters mounted on the frame. Dawn Trash Whippers in the row units and no tilled just fine. I have JD bean cups but have borrowed and the bought Kinze brush meters and never used the bean cups, though the previous owners used them for at least 20 years.

When planting corn I injected 32% from my three point sprayer in the ammonia knives behind the coulters. These coulters are borrowed from my AC 2000 plow.

It came with twisted chains for leveling. These I put on of plain chain were a lot cheaper, but probably don't make a perfect job of leveling.
