NW Iowa | Anybody can sign up for the Precision Acre program for $500/yr for 3 years. When you sign up for it you need to provide info about your planter. They will send you a 20/20 display as well as what ever it takes for it to read population. So if you have a CIH planter without the DJ style sensors they will send you new sensors and a harness. If you have a planter that has the DJ style sensors you will receive the 20/20 and whatever it takes to connect it to your harness/sensors. You will also receive 3 load cells to read down pressure, an adapter harness to tie into your existing GPS receiver and a FieldView kit, basically a harness to connect the 20/20 to an iPad and an iPad mount (you need to provide the iPad). When you sign up for the program they make you sign up for a FieldView account, that is how they are getting your data. After the 3 years you can cancel the account and keep the equipment. | |
