I have only seen 3 species of roo on this farm. Eastern grey kangaroo - are the most in numbers, hang around in mobs and love pastures and forage crops, and I'm sure they spend all day dreaming up new ways to short out my electric fence. http://www.wildlifemountain.com/easterngrey.htm Red necked wallabies - generally keep to the bush and forest areas and eat rougher feed. I really like these little blokes, they cause no trouble at all, and I have a couple that graze on my front lawn in dry times. http://www.wildlifemountain.com/rednckwall.htm Wallaroo - Don't see many of these, they also keep to the scrub and generally solitary animals. http://www.fourthcrossingwildlife.com/common_wallaroo.htm |
