Can the tractor functions be accessed other ways?

I get that being able to adjust things on the display can be beneficial for a lot of reasons, I'm just wondering when the machinery will get to the point that the display is the only way to access necessary functions.
Yes, you can access the basic tractor functions in other ways, but the display gives added functionality. For example, without a display, you can only record 2 end-of-row sequences. With a display, you can record up to (I think) 40.
Without a display, your 3pt hitch is just a dumb hitch, manually controlled by the knobs on the armrest. With a display, the hitch is still manually controlled, but you can save hitch settings for different implements, and the display will show you where you need to set it when you select a certain implement. Without a display, you can see your basic performance info. With a display, you can record that info and create performance/economy maps. Etc. |
