East Central SD | bshannon's post about two weeks without sun and everything being grey... that's pretty much the way it's been here too. Last Friday I headed 5 hours west to the Badlands of our great state for some hiking. Hard to believe that in that short of a drive I was hiking in sunshine and 77 degrees. Ahhhhhh....
A little cooler the next day hiking to the top of Harney Peak with a fellow AgTalker (a lurker who will remain nameless to protect the innocent), but it was still a welcomed relief from the clouds and fog of eastern SD. Stopped in at Wall Drug to see an "old friend" on the way home...
