| Does anyone honestly think that NH3 will come down by spring? The coop's are stuck with the same prices as we are. Well not nearly the same but you get my drift. Yes they do have margins on it but how wide of margin is that? Does anyone have a rough idea of the markup?
I don't believe we will see a price decrease this coming spring. There will be, like always, volume discounts on certain types of fertilizers. Just ask. It may be wise to buddy up with a neighbor to negotiate discounts with suppliers.
I guess it boils down to what corn or bean acres you buy.
