NW Iowa. / SW Arizona | I'm just curious if anybody's received their RA crop insurance money yet. In talking with my insurance man sounds like there will be a lot of claims turned in this fall. I took out the 85% mainly for our drought conditions last year and winter we were experiencing. No way did I think we would get all the rain we did get (to much in June ) this year. My yields were pretty close to my APH but will collect from last springs set price. The 85% wasn't cheap but it will definetly pay for itself this year. I still wish prices were high enough this fall I wouldn't have had to mess with it. | |
