One would want the paperwork done right when buying, so the easements and the payments and all that is well understood and get transferred to the new land owner, that goes without saying in any land deal tho.
Typically that early easement to secure wind rights that your landlord got is fairly small; the real money is after the windmills are built and you collect the checks for the towers. Of course there is a lot of hassle and cut up fields too its not all gravy.
This might be an opportunity for you to buy the property, if the owner feels it is a negative, he might price his land so?
