Alton, Ia
Every 4 years, 4.4 acre samples (less than 10 acre grids, per the Iowa DNR MMP rules). We only VRA the lime, so not a big benefit to having tighter test results. Hard to VRA manure with good accuracy. Our fertility is quite high, so even if we have a great year and remove more nutrients than planned, we are still covered.

The most important fertility item is Ph, fix that first.

Edit: before manure, we did 2.2 acres every 4. Please excuse me if this comes across wrong, but how did it happen to go 20 years?
