LaSalle, Ontario, 10 miles south of Detroit Mi. | It could be that the outside part of the kernel is dry when you shut the heat off. As it cools the inside moisture starts to make it way to the outside of the kernel. I am a small time guy here I can fit my entire corn corn in the dryer bin, when I set it up the company said I could dry grain 2 ways one was dry down to say 16% shut all air off let sweat for a certain time then turn air back on pulling out moisture.
