I'd feel pretty let down by them, and not in the mood to sign anything over.
If its big enough I'd be talking with a lawyer calmly and see what my options are to move forward. You don't have to go for blood, but you should b treated fairly.
Kinda looks like you aren't being treated fairly, and then it tends to be go for blood time pretty quickly.....
But I'd look things over with a lawyer as quickly (I mean cheaply, as few hours as you can get by with but so as to be on solid footing to keep your options open....) and give them a buy out offer.
I would guess at this point they are trying to sell it or something, or they would have let sleeping dogs lie. So they are trying to cash in, you should b part of that process.
