We haven't priced Pioneer Corn yet this year . Im guessing next week we take time to check it out . Here in NorthWest Iowa we had good results the last 2 years with P0533 ,P0297,and P0453 . The P0453 was on bean stubble , and all 3 stood well . We also planted P0392 -had it on 3 farms up against AgriGold 62-67 ,Dk49-94, and Cornielius 303, these 3 corns performed great this year but the P0392 was beaten badly on all 3 farms. We Planted about 600acres Conventional Corn on Bean stubble in 2014. The best for us was P0448, next was an AgriGold 102 day , I don't recall # of it , We tried Cornelius374 , yield was close to the AgriGold but At least "here" it was hard to get off the Cob. finishing out was Pioneer 36V52 conv, stands well but poorest yielding . We saw just as high of Yields on our Conventional as the rest of the corn we planted . which is mostly DeKalb 103 day and later . Have a Happy Thanksgiving, Drive carefull !
You should give Cornelius 574 a try next year, they have several versions available including conventional. |
