| I live about 5 miles from the scene and was there as a fireman. Yea it was a tragedy. Knew the guy in the tractor and baler, he's lucky to be alive the way the tractor was tore up. I remember an engine out of one of the trucks was laying in the ditch 20 or more feet ahead of one of the semis, ripped it right out of the frame.. What was amazing though, was how the kingpins on the trailers stayed to the fifth wheel plate. Opened the fronts of those trailers up like they were aluminum foil. Really felt bad for the third truck driver who watched it all happen in front of him. He was uninjured. | |
