the weakest thing on the 195 is the tandem axle mount? have repaired too many for my liking? unless they finally changed the design? I would stay away from them?


The Weakest thing on a 195 is the whole drive train. They built a spreader for a 100 hp tractor and then put a 40 hp drive on it. we've reinforced / rewelded every bearing hanger on ours. The walking beams and axle mounts must be cleaned off regularly to keep them from rusting out.
Other than that if you get one with a hydraulic apron drive they leave a great spread pattern and are a good machine.
