They say statewide the crop is smaller nut size and yield wise for Georgia. But I think it is pretty good for everyone in our area. The cleaning plants are almost maxed out to capacity. Farmers with irrigation have been getting over $2.50 - $2.90 pound for nuts of good quality. Being dry land about 1/3 of my pecans will sell for $2.45 but the remaining 2/3 of the crop will average about $1.80 - $2.00. No complaints here
