Thanks, Don for making that point. 1891 in the soybean exports thread below reminded us not to get too excited by the strong exports/sales but even he might be impressed by current chart. Two of the last three weeks we've shipped 30% more beans than anytime in the past few years. It is also instructive to look at the pattern of soymeal exports. The 4 year ave. soymeal exports are more erratic week to week but extend throughout the whole marketing year.
While we need to wait a few more weeks to confirm the trend it certainly looks as if we will chew through this bean crop at a good pace. I would be interested to see whether the US and Brazil soybean productions combined can saturate the world market at these prices.
