The young farmer has just about 10 years before his father will retire. He works for the operation full time during planting and harvest seasons. He is very involved and according to him he gets along very well with the rest of the operation except for this issue. No one ever said anything about the farmer salesman being any cheaper either.

It's simple. Son feels dad is wrong for buying inputs off a farmer who is trying to rent the exact same ground that the son is hoping he may have a chance at. Dad tells son tough luck that's what I'm going to do.

Also according to the son he isn't whining because he feels that he needs to farm as much as the other farmer. He just noted how the other farmer is by far the largest farmer in the area. Regular BTO.
