Michigan | There are very few trees that I'd call timber, most of the Ash in the area have killed by emerald ash bore,I burn wood,so I'd take most of the 8in and bigger stuff for myself.
Also thought about buying my own excavator and doing the work myself,think it would be a 1-2 year winter time project,plus I have other small 2-4 acre patches on other farms that could be cleared or at least squared up( I had to google "track hoe", here they are called excavator)
