You think 50 ft spacing is sufficient? Correct me if I'm wrong, but you have Haig/Edina soils in your area (like I do), perhaps Taintor and Mahaksa soils if you're further north. 30 ft centers with 4" is what I would do "here", but even then I'm not sure about it working properly. Clay pans are quite a deal for tiling, especially if using a plow.
