Whiskey, Tango, Foxtrot | I agree. Some of you may be familiar with the term "First World Problem" and I think it is a pretty fitting description for many people who are so accustomed to how good we have it, that they don't fully appreciate just how good thing are. I.E. people who are worried about things like whether their eggs are from free range chickens, how much of their electricity is from renewable sources, and the size of their "carbon footprint".
People who are fresh immigrants from Mexico, or Guatemala are great to talk to. They don't worry about any trivial crap like that. They are just glad to be here. Personally, I find that refreshing. | |
