In a case like this where you might start over with all new what do you do with the old, especially if part of it is still working? looks to me(a tile dummy) like you might be chopping the old system into pieces which if they still sorta work will cause localized problems??? Is it advisable to deep till somehow to destroy all the old? Reason I ask, home farm has been tiled at least three different times, some flat bottom mailbox tile, shallow, some round clay and some plastic, was tied together where practical, and now is failing in random areas, mostly where the tile is too shallow. Is the right way to just abandon the old or tie it in or destroy it?
