However, I must disagree strongly with your implication that you can be successful and have a "profitable future", to use your words, only "If you graduate at or near the top of your class, contact influential people, and intern with companies that are solid" and " If you also are willing to go where those jobs exist. If you plan on staying in What Cheer your chances of this decline significantly."
I can assure you that there are many, many individuals living in "What Cheer" that are quite successful, quite "profitable", and quite well travelled, thank you very much.
