Whiskey, Tango, Foxtrot | How much elevation difference do you have to overcome? It is impossible pull water more than 33 vertical feet. Distance doesn't matter so much if pipe is sized accordingly, but if the elevation difference between the water surface and the top of the 'hill' your trying to siphon over is much over 30', you'll never get it started. For all practical purposes, getting a siphon started even a 20' is going to be a challenge. | |
