East Idaho | Anyone care to share what the malt barley bids are in MT and ND? Busch's current bid in ID is 5.78/bu or 12.04.cwt. Just wondering how that compares to the other top barley producing states. We had a MAJOR crop failure this Aug. due to sprout. First time this has happened to our farm in 30 years of growing malt barley. I know MT and ND also had quality issues and crop failures. Seems like supplies should be tight and this malt barley market could get interesting. | |
