Zabcikville, TX | The 9400 developed a rear axle seal leaking. Dealer picked up 1 1/2 weeks later. They took it apart, OUTSIDE!, boss talked to service manager. He says worn gears in rear planetaries. Boss goes and looks at worn parts. Gears aren't "worn" but pitted. Boss tells SM to try to find used parts. SM calls 3 weeks later and says, I can get new parts tomorrow, used will be another week. WHAT???? They've had the tractor apart, outside under NO cover, and have drug their feet trying to find parts. BTW, used was only $1000 cheaper than new. IMO someone should've called and said "here's what we found". After almost 7 weeks, tractor still at that dealer. 8530 quit steering, and within a few days 8520T is making a terrible noise. Called another dealer, 8530 repaired the next day (priority valve), he looks at 8520T, diagnosis the problem. Part will be in tomorrow. Installed the part today. BOTH tractors up and running within 2 days. Dealer "A" will not get any more business from us. Dealer "B" fixed our tractors, quickly! And without any BS. | |
