southern MN | Go to the top of the message you want to reply to in the grey area, little button on the right side says 'reply'.
You are not alone on this, used to be able to reply at the bottom of the thread/message but a software upgrade changed that, now the button at the bottom starts a whole new thread. Little odd but if all of life's problems were so trivial........
