+1 What Jon said. Also the frequencies used in digital TV are the same as the old analog, for the most part. Some VHF channels moved up to UHF, but still have their old VHF channel numbers and designations. For example, "here" our channel 5 PBS station is actually transmitting on UHF channel 36, but still shows up as 5-1, 5-2, 5-3, on the TV set.
