our Edge display is faulty - (battery error displayed on screen) So i though i would make sure the GPS 1500 antenna is still OK as if its not then there's no point in repairing the screen (quoted $1600....) i wired the antenna via pins 4 & 5 but the LED only turns orange to indicate GPS lock. it does not go green for SBAS / E-DIFF lock.
does the screen need to be connected before E-Diff will work or should the GPS receiver LED turn green with no screen connected?
Display has to be connected to the 1500 in order for it to get an e-Dif lock. The display sends a command to the 1500, it will lock when its ready. |
