| Ordered 3 varieties of soybean seed from my seed supplier. Turns out they did not have as much of one of the varieties as I wanted and added another variety to fill out the order. Am told about this just after they are custom planted. So I had no choice in the matter. Turns out that these beans are at least 10 bushel less in yield than what I had chosen after careful scrutiny. It amounts to about 60 acres. I plant 119,000/acre. I choose very defensive, bushy, highly SDS scored beans. These are terrible standing and yielding.....................How would anyone handle this. I have never had a difference in beans amount to more than $20/acre before. | |
