That photo is actually Blu, he is a border collie, telling me to hurry up we had sheep to move :) He is nearly 12 so getting more white in his face as years pass.

Watch allowing dogs, especially puppies chew on the actual corn cob. If they swallow a larger piece can will get stuck in the intestines and require surgery. It does not digest and will block the intestines, it is fatal when this happens. I remember working the first few months in a clinic a dalmation puppy came in super sick and he had swollowed a corn cob. The owners elected to not do surgery, I went outside and cried. Those things stick with you so while it is a cute picture I cringe.
I thought the same looking at the pic, the dog we had when I was a kid ate more corn than any cow on the place. A few years ago we almost lost our golden doodle to a corn cob. I had no idea until my wife angrily informed me corn and dogs is a no no |
